there is this stuff that fixes holes on leather jackets , not sure whats its called.. works good to... just get a lot of that stuff , depending on how big the rip is

Question : if i were driving a truck covered on my parents policy and rearended someone will insurace allow a car rental?
I was driving my truck which has full coverage ins. on it through my parents policy statefarm i am NOT a insured driver on that policy due to my being booted off of staefarm a few years back (i just went through a divorce this was temp. until i could afford my own coverage). They know i was driving the truck....im not sure if they will cover for a car rental? or even fix the damages to my truck?
Answer:
Since you rear ended someone, you are at fault. The only rental they might give is to the person you hit while their vehicle is being fixed.
With full coverage, and collision, you can probably get yours fixed, less whatever deductible is in force.

Question : Is there a warming truck cover?
I thought there was a type of truck cover that you could put on the hood of the truck and plug in so it keeps it warms during snow and cold weather, but I have looked on the Internet and can't find anything. Anyone heard of anything like this and know where I can get one?

This would be like an electric blanket for trucks. No one is not made, but you can use a conventional truck cover and add a engine block heater. This may be installed by you or a mechanic. This will keep your engine warm and allow for easy starts and a quick cab warm-up.

Okay, the words "smoothly slowing down" means that the acceleration is negative, and constant.
So, we'll write out out usual equations, plug in what we know, and solve for what's left:
acceleration = a
velocity = at + v0
displacement = (at^2)/2 +v0t
So, at t = 8.5...
acceleration = a;
2.8 = 8.5a +v0
40 = 4.25a +8.5v0
So, solve those two equations, you should get one answer where the acceleration is negative, and the v0 is positive.

I just bought a new tacoma and once springs rolls around I do alot of fishing and hunting througouht the year. There are times where IM sure I wont need the cover like during the winter months, and would like to know if most bed covers can be taken off rather easily if you want it off to go somewhere.

I've been out of school for a long time, and I pretty much sucked at physics when I WAS there, but ...
Consider this ... the empty bed of a pickup creates a resistance. If the truck is moving forward, the air is flowing up over the hood, over the cab, and down .... the air moves back until it encounters the tailgate. The tailgate essentially "stops" the natural flow of the air.
I would have to assume that this would create "drag" which would, in turn, affect gas mileage.
A tonneau cover creates a flat, smooth surface over the bed of the truck. It eliminates the "barrier" that would be created by a tailgate. The air would flow smoothly over the tonneau cover, encountering no resistance or "drag" ... so I'd have to think that gas mileage would be improved.
ADDED: I think a "cap" type of cover ... one that is the same height as the cab of the truck ... would be best, aerodynamically. A tonneau would be better than an open bed, but I imagine that a cap-type covering would facilitate airflow more effortlessly over the vehicle than any other type.
