Question : Sheepskin seat covers questions
Im looking at seat covers on ebay an i want to know what "pile" means. the sheepskin covers are 18mm 22mm 25mm and i dont know what that means but the larger the pile the more expensive they are. also how do i know what is genuine and what is fake besides looking at price and is paying a couple hundred extra dollars for genuine going to be worth it i have velour seats by the way. thankyou.

unless your seats are in bad shape I would not put covers on them. When you put covers on cloth seats the covers move as you move and that causes friction and heat and will wear your seats out a lot faster. I have worked in auto restoration for 30 years and have seen what seat covers do to seats. Not only the wear but the dirt that goes thru the covers that gets rub into the seats and helps to make them rot. The velour on your seats are the same as you and me IT LIKES TO BREATH with covers it can't. I hope this helps
