Love It
I'm very satisfied with my new TriFecta Truck Cover. I put it on the truck, all by myself, in less than 20 minutes in the dark. It was astoundingly easy. I've also noticed about a 1 MPG increase in gas mileage- not much, but 1 gallon a week these days is $104 dollars a year, and that's not shabby. I bought it for the security of having the bed covered, so a hundred dollar bonus is just icing on the cake.

Trifecta Rocks!
The price and convenience can't be beat. I saw this same cover on other websites and at retail stores for at least $100 more than on Amazon. I also know of one place that wanted to charge $40 for installation when all you have to do it tighten two clamps, hook two spring clamps, and make sure it is straight!
It is VERY nice not dealing with snaps and cover shrinkage in the cold. Also, it is very easy to fold up and put back down. I should have bought one sooner.
Plus when I contacted the manufacturer to answer questions, they were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent cover
This is the third bed cover I have owned in the past 6 years and it is the best. Almost completely waterproof, sturdy and easy to operate. The spring loaded clamps are excellent and the buckles to hold the cover open are too.

FANTASTIC
This product is everything that the manfacturer says it is. It's very easy to put on and fits my truck perfectly. Took all of about 10 minutes to install and haven't had a prodlem since. It comes of easily and goes right back on with no problem. I would highly recommend this cover to anyone! ANd, the price through Amazon is better then anywhere on the net.

More Reason's to Buy this Product
I had a fiberglass cover on my last truck. It was good but very heavy. It took a person a lot of trial and error work to get it totally straight on the truck bed to the point that afterwards they wouldn't want to remove it again (ever). This cover, on the other hand, is light and can be removed and reinstalled in minutes with NO TOOLS.
Best of all, in the folded forward position, I can leave it on the truck and still hook up my fifth wheel trailer (had to saw off the last inch of the release handle but otherwise there is no interference).
I would point out that the label on the box said it was for 2002-2004 Dodge Ram trucks. But, it was a perfect fit for my 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 short bed. I would hazard a wild guess that these are old stock from around 2004/2005 but they are certainly NIB (new in box). When I cross checked with other websites they showed this model number fitting a variety of trucks through 2008, so don't let the label on the carton cause you any concern.
Bottom line, this is a quality product and is a case where Amazon has the best price anywhere and they offer free shipping. I got my tonneau cover via DHL in 2 business days (3 if you count Saturday) using standard shipping.
Finally, it looks good on my new truck.

Perfect Truck Bed Cover Solution
This is the real deal, fellas. No snaps to pop off, no ugly roll-up cover, no "zip-lock" seal, no fiberglass cover that only lifts up a foot high. This is a practical, good-looking and durable tonneau cover for your truck. Stays rigid and solid at all highway speeds and water doesn't pool on top at any time. Got a great price from Amazon...local dealer wanted $389.00 + tax, "installed" --(installation for this thing means placing it on top and pulling 4 levers underneath to clamp it on). To fold it back requires releasing two rear quick release clamps, flipping it over twice and clipping it to the back edge...simple and looks great. To remove it completely, release the other two clamps and lift it out.
Because this cover is so easy to remove, I highly recommend buying a tailgate lock. I found a good quality one for under 20 bucks, easy to install.
Gas mileage with the cover installed has increased 1-2 mpg as well.
Couldn't be happier with this product.

Fantastic Tonneau Cover
This tonneau is an excellent choice at a low price. I was sick of the stupid snaps that never seem to fit in the winter. I am also noticing a 1.5 mpg gain with this thing installed. It installs real easy and is very simple to take off for hauling extra large items. I would suggest this tonneau cover to anyone. I have two guys that I work with that have since bought them after seeing mine and they both love theirs.

Stuff is Hidden, Dry, & Truck Looks Good!!!
I have had this on my truck for a few months now and have been very satisfied. The day I got it I installed it in about 15 minutes (from getting the box off the porch to admiring it on the truck). It fits very well, looks nice, and comes with extra seals which I didn't even use.
The next weekend we left on a 600 mile trip and put all our stuff in the bed. It poured down rain so hard for about an hour that I finally pulled over because of visibility. When the rain subsided I checked the bed and there was not a drop of water back there! I have since taken it through a couple of wand pressure washes and haven't seen water in there from that either.
The tarp does slightly flap at highway/interstate speeds but most all soft tops will. This one isn't bad about it at all. The tarp is thick and well supported enough that I have sat a few things on top of it for a minute or two (the heaviest being my emergency kit which is about 12" x 18" and weighs about 10 lbs.)
I installed a Bully tailgate lock at the same time to make everything more secure. I guess if someone really wanted in they'd just cut the top and get in that way, but if you really want security, go for a hard top. I wanted convenience, things to be dry & hidden, and the ability to take it off easily by myself when I need to use the bed for something bigger. This one is lightweight, can be placed on or taken off in literally about 2 minutes by yourself, and I can drive with it open and only covering 1/3 of the bed.
The only thing that would make me happier is if someone gave it to me for free, but I'll gladly buy one for my next truck too. My brother, after seeing mine, is about to order one for his truck as well.

Wish I had done this first!
Anyone who has owned a pick-up and needed to protect what they haul has had to buy a tonneau of one type or another. I have had several types and models over the years. This one is the BEST. It goes on the easiest, is good looking and form fitting. None are absolutely perfect but this one is close. When I have a larger, bulkier item to haul, the Tri-Fold is so simple to open up.
I have been VERY happy with my purchase. Only regrets are the bad choices I made when I ever bought the other types of snap on or even Velcro fastener tonneaus. This one is one to appreciate. Buy this one!

Great Product
I used to have a button down style tonneau cover and compared to this Tri-Fold style, I would never go back. It works great when you need to get it out of the way for larger stuff or when something slides to the front of the box. The price is the lowest of any automotive stores or anywhere.

Questions & Answers
Question : Truck Bed Cover for Toyota Tacoma?
What would be my best option for a truck bed cover for an 08 Double Cab Toyota Tacoma (short bed). Ideally I would like something that is removable but also secure (lockable).. something to keep the rain out/off when it is raining, but also to keep anything I have back there secure if I am parked somewhere. I don't tend to keep it on 100% of the time as I do some camping, etc. where I need to "pile stuff in." Does anyone know what my best option is? I've read about some.. (hard vs soft) but don't really know the difference nor do I know how easy/hard they are to attach/put on.

Question : Snap on truck bed cover and winter...?
i have a bed cover for my truck bed. it is not a hard cover. it snaps on all around the bed.
Should i take it off for winter? will it shrink and ruin the snaps? ANY input will help. thanks.
Answer:
the cold weather will take its toll on it and if you take it off be sure and store it in a safe place, leaving it on will cause damage to it from the cold weather, especially snow and ice laying on it,but before you put it back on make sure its on a warm day and let it come to the temperature of the outside,or else it will be really hard to get back on,i have one to i removed it a month ago,and probably wont put it back on at least until April or may, good luck.

Question : Anyone have any ideas of making my own truck bed cover cheaper than them stores online?
I don't want to invest more money in this truck since got ripped off with the value on this truck pricing. Any suggestions anyone?
2003 Nissan Frontier king cab
Answer:
Hmmm... Run 3 2x4's from the driver side to the passenger side of the bed on the top of the bed rails, 1 at the front near the cab, one in the middle and one at the back. Buy some particle board for the top and screw it into the 2x4's. get some "L" brackets and screw one into the end of each 2x4 and tuck the taller part of the "L" bracket into the backside of the bed rail. And paint it with some house paint. And there you have it, a hillbilly tonneu cover!

Question : How do I keep the water out of my truck bed when hard cover is opened?
Have a Ford F150 with the hard tonneau cover. When it rains, a water pools on it and rushes in the crack once the cover is opened. Is there something sold to divert the water or does anyone have advice?
Answer:
The only thing that comes to mind is keep a squeegee in your truck and swipe the water off the top before opening it. A little might get in, but you should be able to get most of it easily enough.
Make sure you get one with a long enough handle so you can do this without leaning up against it and getting wet.

Question : I am trying to build my own truck bed cover, where can I purchase the fiberglass resin?

Answer:
Home Depot, Sears, paint supply place, boat shop, or Walmart

Question : Could I put Subs in my Truck bed Covered by a snugtop shell?
I want some subs in my 04 tacoma 4 door but they wont fit inside, COULD ALL THE NECCESSARY WIRING ETC... WORK FINE IN MY SNUGTOP CAMPER SHELL? I never use my truck bed for anything really it just stays nice and dry
Answer:
Only if you want everybody to really hate you. Those subs will be louder everywhere outside the truck than inside. People will throw things at you, and you will deserve it. It would be like putting subs for your home theatre out on the patio because you couldn't figure how to put them in the living room.
Get a sub that can go under the seat, instead.

Question : want to make my own truck bed wooden cover on 2004ford edge short bed.sites and/or directions for help?
i am guessing to use thin plywood and then coat with polyester resin and just bolt on through plastic round holes on sides. any suggestions, past experience without buying dealer covers;etc. want to try on my own with lots of time willing to put into, not lots of money.
Answer:
You have a pretty good idea of what would be involved. If you have means, the resin used for concrete flooring works VERY good, and you can have choice of colors. I would sugest this first though...try looking around in craigslist. You might find a really dirt cheap deal on fiberglass cover someone really wants top get rid of.- might even get to trade some stuff you might have laying around for it?
I assume no one wanted to answer just because it seems "strange" to them, but there are alot of different ways to go about this project. The idea you have will work, just keep in mind what you are building will basically be a door.
Hope this helped. = Gave me flashbacks of the 80's when we had to build all our stuff for our trucks. Good luck on the project!
